Who wins? Bangalore or Hyderabad

This past week had some visitors that were in India for the first time. Soem of them came directly to Hyderabad. And from what they told us they liked teh city a lot (now this is not in absolute terms, say comparing with US. This is after factoring in the expectations one would have of India when coming from US!). And then there was one other person that came to Hyderabad enroute Mumbai, Delhi, Pune and Bangalore. With some time spent in each city. (Enough to start appreciating Indian food and get familiar with some key dishes!). And then Hyderabad. Even he found Hyderabad to be much better than the other sities.

Now, being a Hyderabadi, Iam not suprised. In fact, I kind of expect this. And if soemone visits Hyderabad after the rains, when there is lush greenery all around. Further enhanced by the sincere and very successful effort to plant trees into public gardens and along roads. And the major initiative to increase the "garden cover". All this along well paved roads with very little sand/dust/debris to be seen along the median or side-walk.

Now, why would anyone not like such a city! :-)
